Hague Convention on the Civil Aspects of International Child Abduction

If your child is being wrongfully withheld in a foreign country, you have limited options in having the government help you retrieve the love of your life.

When your child is being held in a country which is a signatory to the Hague Convention on the Civil Aspects of International Child Abduction such as the United States Of America, the government will use its police power to help you through its designated Central Authority. In the U.S.A, that is the Department of State, unless they have designated another entity, such as the Los Angeles County District Attorney.
